IxDA Charlotte is for anybody interested in learning more about creating a great user experience.
Join us once we get together to discuss user experience design, information architecture, copywriting, analytics, usability, sketching, wireframing and much more.
Recently, we became an IxDA chapter so that we can be better connected with the global design community and continue to bring you better content. If you are interested in getting involved, feel free to reach out!
Other than that, we try to keep it casual and we encourage you to bring a friend!
Whether you’re a UX practitioner or someone who wants to bring design sprints, design thinking and the voice of the user into your organization—stakeholder buy-in is essential. Even in companies with long-established experience design processes, UX is still sometimes a hard sell. In a time of tight budgets, meetings overload, frenzied schedules and sales-driven validation, how do you prove the value of UX to leadership?
At this event, you’ll learn:
Getting to “test” vs. getting to “yes”
Why storytelling is your best (and most underutilized) weapon
Proven tactics for proving UX value
Quick wins on low budgets
Where to go from “NO”
