SCHEDULE:
6:45pm - check-in
7pm - "Kizomba FUNdations" - class designed to introduce and strengthen your Kizomba basic steps and techniques (beginners welcome)
8pm - "Kizomba LevelUP" - class that builds on material from "Kizomba FUNdations" hour and takes it UP a notch combining basics into intermedial level patterns of steps and techniques you can feel comfortable using in your social dancing. Challenge yourself!
9-9:30pm - Guided Open Practice time, mingle and practice what you learned with fellow students or your partner, instructors are available for questions and individual feedback

We are all about COMMUNITY and CONNECTIONS with good vibes, good music and GREAT FRIENDLY people!

NOTE: Attendance to ONLY "Kizomba LevelUP" 8PM class requires prior instructor approval. Send us a message here

Parents are welcome to bring kids, there is a secure children's playroom area (child care is not provided)

Instructor biography:
Veronika (Belarus) and Claude St Gilles (Haiti) of Kizomba Alegria Dance Company have over 25 year of combined dance experience. They are committed to promoting Angolan style of kizomba dancing in hopes to preserve and educate more people about the beautiful culture and African roots of Kizomba/Semba dancing.

For many, Argentine Tango has always been a mysterious, passionate, and elusive dance. Have you been curious about Tango? Here’s your chance to learn with an excellent teacher.

Beginners’ and Intermediate classes are now being offered every Monday at Lynn's Dance Club near Tryon and Woodlawn Road. It is followed by El Abrazo, an informal gathering called a “practica” that brings more advanced dancers.

Daniel Arredando is our teacher and will share the authentic culture, customs and etiquette of Tango in Buenos Aires.

Daniel has been dancing Tango since 2000 and began teaching in 2010 and has been a major force in the Tango scene in the greater Charlotte area ever since.

Tango is like an onion, there are layers upon layers of meaning, and sometimes it makes you cry (for joy.) Tango is a dance of romance, connection and friendships. You will meet and dance with very interesting people from all over the world.

All are welcome to these classes, whether you’re experienced with other dance styles or a total beginner. Join our warm, welcoming Tango community in Charlotte and beyond. No partner needed.
