What we’re about
Are you a skier, snowboarder or just want to have fun?? Meet other local ski buffs to talk gear, share stories and plan outings. Formerly "Charlotte Ski Bees," the Club was founded in 1963 and transitioned into the Charlotte Ski & Snowboard Club several years ago. We are a year round organization focused on promoting snow skiing and snow boarding. We also offer many other outdoor and social activities, ranging from monthly hikes, kayaking, happy hours and so much more!
We have some great trips scheduled for the coming year (or, rather, years). We get great pricing on our trips: discounted lodging and lift tickets at 50% or less off the window price. Plus you get to make new friends and have a great time - what could be better!! Check out our calendar of events on our website at www.charlotteskiandsnowboardclub.com! !
We have an awesome ski/snowboard race team and throughout the winter months compete in ski races with other clubs in Crescent Ski Council, an organization of 19 clubs in the southeast.
Our membership dues are $30/single and $50/household, and local ski shops give valuable perks with each membership so you can't beat the price!! Membership is required to participate on our trips and with our race team but guests are always welcome at any of our meetings and other events.
Our General Membership meetings are open to everyone and are generally held on the second Monday of the month (except June, July and Aug) at 7 PM - location TBA - check our Meetup page for updated information on location, and updated meeting schedule during COVID. Check with www.charlotteskiandsnowboardclub.com to learn more and join the club.
