What we’re about
Backpackers & City Freaks (fondly called as BCF) is a perfect group for people who are interested in treks, hikes, expeditions, backpacking adventure trips, leisure trips, water sport trips, camping, rock climbing, bouldering, horse riding, swimming, kayaking etc.
Our tours are designed around – '3 interests'

With 1000s of trips facilitated for more than 50,000 BCFians, we take care of all the stressful parts like transportation, and accommodation leaving you time to relax and enjoy a unique travel experience you wouldn’t be able to book on your own.
All ages are welcome. People who are new to travelling are also very welcome.

Our Monsoon trekking trips include places like Rajmachi, Kalsubai, Matheran, Harishchandragad, Bhimashankar, Rajgad fort, Katraj to Sinhagad (K2S) etc.
Our leisure trips include places like Gokarna beaches, Murudeshwar, Vibhoothi waterfalls, Dandeli, Coorg, Chikmagalur, Pondycherry etc.
Our City Freak events include KhajaGuda, Khila Ghanpur, Mallela Theertham waterfalls, Charikonda, Koil Sagar, Koil Konda, night camping events, Horse Riding, etc

3:00 pm - Start to Hubli by train from Chennai
𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟐 -
6:30 AM - Reach Hubli... Get into an hired vehicle
8:00 AM - Halt for breakfast and fresh up
9:00 AM – Get into private vehicle and leave for Dandeli
11:30 PM – Reach Dandeli and check into Resort
12:15 PM – Visit Moulangi eco-park, Syntheri rocks and other sight seeing places
5:00 PM – VIsit the bridge at Supa dam for few good pics.
Note: We cant go to the dam
7:00 PM – back to Homestay
7:00 PM – 9:00 PM – Rest and chit chat… games… etc
9:00 PM – 10:00 PM – Dinner
10:00 PM – Campfire and Stories
11:00 PM – Sleep
(Sunday)
4:30 AM – Wake up call
6:30 AM – Go for a Nature walk and small trek.
8:00 AM – Once we are done with the trek we shall go to elephant camp and click a few photos
9:30 AM – Back to the homestay and have breakfast
10:30 AM – Start to water sports – river rafting, kayaking, Jacuzzi, swimming etc
2:30 PM – Reach homestay and have lunch
4:00 PM - Start to Hubli
8:00 PM Catch train to Bangalore
𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟒:
6:00 am - Reach Bangalore and Board Chennai Train
12:00 pm - Reach Chennai
Cost - 6400/-

- Travel from Chennai to Hubli by sleeper class train
- Travel from Hubli to Bangalore ( Sleeper class train )
- Travel from Bangalore to Chennai ( (2S) Seater)
- Private Hired Vehicle from Hubli for Two days
3 Meals ( 1 lunch, 1 dinner, and 1 breakfast)
Important notes on rafting:
– The status of White Water Rafting – whether it will happen or not – will only be announced by Forest/Dam authorities on Sunday morning.
– No one can promise it beforehand 100%
Sight Seeing – Only based on time availability
- Backwaters
- Supa dam ( only onto the bridge as Dam visit needs special permissions)
- crocodile park
Rafting - INR 600 and other activities based on your interest are paid by you guys

- A Rucksack/haversack,

- Mosquito repellent.
- Toiletries required
- Photo Id (any valid card with your photograph and signature on it)
