We started a Feminist Book Club to discuss topics of gender equity, feminism, current political climate. These books can make us laugh and cry and learn. We'd like to meet quarterly, with the first meeting at the Cherry Hill Public Library at 1100 Kings Highway North, Cherry Hill.NJ 08034. You do not have to live in Cherry Hill to attend. T

In her comic, scathing essay “Men Explain Things to Me,” Rebecca Solnit took on what often goes wrong in conversations between men and women. She wrote about men who wrongly assume they know things and wrongly assume women don’t, about why this arises, and how this aspect of the gender wars works, airing some of her own hilariously awful encounters.
