This delightful walk is eight miles long and includes moderate ascent and descent. It starts at Llanarmon yn Ial at 10am in front of the Raven pub (CH7 4QE). There is parking at the front of the pub but it is used by pub customers and people going to church so please park elsewhere and assemble there.
To get there allow up to 30 minutes from either Chester or Wrexham. From Chester you can either take the A483, then A525 through Coedpoeth, turning off at Minera onto the B5430, past Graianrhyd until you see a turn off on the left. Or you can go via Pontblyddyn along the A5104 until you see you see a sign for Graianrhyd on the right.
From Wrexham take the A525 as outlined above.
Upon arrival please make yourself known to the walk leader, Jon. There is no charge for the walk but if you plan to come regularly there is an annual £10 fee. Please refer to our website for further information: https://chesterwalking.org.uk/
Please note that we circulate details of all our events (including some that don't appear on Meetup) via email to our paid up members, most of whom aren't in Meetup. This means that the numbers attending events will be considerably higher than the Meetup numbers would indicate - and this is the reason why our available Meetup places on events are sometimes set on the low side.
