I'm starting Chi Town Moms Fitness group to build a community that will provide fitness and nutrition level support for moms in Chicago and beyond. The purpose of this group is to get moms together to start fitness challenges and to provide a community that encourages and supports them, while still holding them accountable towards their goals. We will hold fitness challenges ranging from 4 weeks, 6 weeks to 12 weeks to see a total body transformation. Nutrition will be a big part of the fitness challenges and so will meeting regularly to go over and discuss our progress. We have a website where community members can access nutritional information, recipes as well as track their fitness progress. This meetup is a not a way to sell any fitness classes or diet programs, but a community of moms that meet on a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly basis to discuss their fitness challenges and success. We will take on challenges together, but exercise in our own time and log our meals, etc. We can also have weekly meetups to go running on the lake or take a yoga or fitness class together; the possibilities are endless. If you have any ideas for meetups, please suggest them as well.
