Founded in 1862 we are the oldest astronomical society in the western hemisphere. Members of the Astronomical League and Night Sky Network. Monthly meetings at the Adler Planetarium are open to the public but membership dues are encouraged to help defray costs. Subscription discounts for Astronomy & Sky & Telescope magazines.
