What we're about

We are a diverse group of amateur and professional, just learning through very experienced, male models and male photographers interested in the full range of male photography from fashion, fitness, to fine art.

We welcome men with different levels of experience who possess creativity and curiosity to join us. We enjoy each other's company in a creative atmosphere with mutual respect for various aesthetics, body types, and personal comfort levels. We have developed a kindly community that promotes artistic expression no matter our level of professional skill or artistic achievement.

The work of both our models and photographers can be shown here and we will be developing other resources. If you are an aspiring model looking to build a portfolio, or a working model looking to expand your book, this is a great place for you.

The majority of our shoots now are for athletic, fit, or lean guys (of any age or race) interested in fitness, body shots, underwear modeling, or fine art photography.

Three or four photographers may work at the same time with different models in these sessions. We can pool our resources to pay models for these sessions.

Our Community events are rarer and more informal and are for men of all kinds who want to be photographed, and for photographers of all kinds who want to try new things with whatever camera they have. These events are larger, with up to 3 men posing and/or shooting. And these events feature shoots ranging from whimsical to serious. Regular guys who just want to pose would fall in the Community Model group.

In the shoots we explore light, shadow and color. We learn about new equipment and techniques, as one photographer in the group challenges another. Many in the group, if they have SLR cameras, are working in the non-automated mode. But men with all level of cameras are welcome.

There is a $5 per month fee to be part of this group. In spite of what the site may say, there is no free trial period before our monthly dues kicks in.

Members who actually model for the group will have their dues refunded.

We charge a nominal fee for most meetups to cover the cost of space rental and to encourage those who RSVP to show up. In addition, if models are paid, their fee (if it is not otherwise covered through excess dues collection) will be split between the photographers and will be in addition to the meetup fee.

There are occasional free events for networking.

Whether a novice or an expert, you are welcome. If you have any questions, you can email us directly at or message through this site.
