We will perform basic MovNat skills outdoors. These natural movements will consists of locomotion (climbing, crawling, rolling, lunging, walking...) and manipulative skills (lifting, carrying, throwing and catching) skills. The MovNat approach relies on mindful movement as an individual but also as cooperative group movement. We will practice and play, building mobility, strength and balance all while exploring movement. The goal is to view exercise and fitness through a different lens, and not as a goal but rather an adventure. Movement can be done anywhere, anytime and through our meet ups we will learn I recognize all the opportunities to move in our world, whether it be in the forest, parking lot or gym.
