New to Chicago? Welcome to town! Wanna add some fresh excitement to your social life? Perfect! This group is for you. But that's what every group says...How is this one different than all the others? Great question!
Not only do we put together amazing, custom events to help you enjoy our great city, including happy hours, holiday parties, boat trips, comedy nights, and SOOOO much more, but we specialize in running Simply Social coed recreational sports leagues. They are hands down THE BEST way to make new friends in Chicago. Here's why:
Of course one night get togethers are always fun, but do you have enough time to really connect with new people after one night? When playing in our SUPER social, just for fun, coed sports leagues, you get to hang out with the same people for a 5-8 week season, truly getting to know your teammates in a laid back, pressure-free atmosphere. You can join by yourself or with friends and we make teams by age group, half guys, half girls. In our leagues ALL teams walk or take a bus to the same bar after games, where all teams mix and mingle and the social experience kicks into full gear.
So whether you're fresh to Chicago, looking to make some new friends or just want more fun stuff to throw on your social calendar, JOIN US at our events or join a league! You'll be glad you did :)

$5 First Fridays Stand Up Comedy Shows at Chicago's best venue!
The World Famous Laugh Factory, 3175 North Broadway Street, Chicago, IL, USThe Laugh Factory in Lakeview (Broadway & Belmont) is open for comedy and we all could use some laughs! We always get A LOT of people to attend these shows. Often times over 100 Meetup members!
If you attend by yourself or with friends and want to be seated in the Meetup group section, simply request this when you check in at the ticket booth! Then just say hi to those around you :)
Every First Friday of the month we get $5 TICKETS to their shows at 7:00, 9:15 & 11:30 pm. They're ALWAYS hilarious!

Drinks are reasonably priced, and a comedy show is funnier with a few drinks, so this shouldn't be an issue with how cheap our tickets are :) Also, an 18% service fee (aka gratuity) will be applied to all drink tabs at payment to be given directly to service staff.
No refunds or exchanges but tickets can be transferred.

North Avenue Beach Tues-Fri 5-Week Coed Social Leagues! Get placed with others!
North Ave Beach - South End, 1603 N Lake Shore Dr,, Chicago, IL, USHey all! For the past 16 years, I've been running coed recreational (all levels welcome) 6 vs 6 leagues on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday night, and also a Friday night league where everyone is single (as in not dating anyone!). Plus after games for each league, all teams walk to the same bar to hang out, build relationships with their teammates and meet others, and get exclusive specials as well as some free beer.
If you want to hit the beach for some fun games under the Chicago summer sun, these leagues are perfect for you :)

What makes S3 Simply Social Sports Leagues so popular and unique?
S3 Leagues are way more than just leagues. First, I run the most welcoming all-levels social league experience in the city. Full teams do register a lot, but you can also join as an individual or with friends and I'll put you on a team of other free agent players around your age (teams are made for ages 21-42). This provides each player with a unique league experience where the social part is just as important as the games themselves.
Gotta miss a week or two? No problem! There a few extra players on each free agent team because we know people can't make it every week.
SIGN UP to play by yourself or with friends and get placed on a coed team of other free agent players around your age for the season! It's just $70 per player or $595 per full team on Tues/Wed/Thurs. And $65 per player or $525 per full team on Fridays.
