Kdb+ is a high performance database that is increasingly being used for machine learning with Python. In this talk, Rebecca will demo Kdb+ and describe the open source connectors between Python and kdb+.

A bit more about our speaker:

Rebecca Kelly is a Technical Evangelist at Kx based in New York City. Previously, Rebecca has worked as a senior solutions architect and kdb+ developer for Kx at financial institutions around the world. Rebecca has a master’s degree in Informatics with a specialty in Machine Learning from the University of Edinburgh, and a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland.
