Let's try this out. I'm a recent transplant to Chicago and an aspiring Ultra-Marathoner. I originally was inspired by David Goggins, the hardest man alive! Let's create a meetup here in Chicago where we subject ourselves to harsh conditions to strengthen our body and callous our minds. Let's create different sick and twisted workouts each week. Primarily based on running and calisthenics. Let's do them outside and subjected to the elements. Truthfully, I love hard workouts and i've never organized a group like this but it seems Chicago needs it! Who's in? I've got all sorts of sick, twisted ideas we can try.. Feel free to bring your own too!
Would love to get a tribe together of like minded individuals and push each other through blood, sweat, and tears to get faster, stronger, and tougher. I'm by no means a stud athlete... We could signup to do Marathons, Ultras, Ironmans, and Obstacle Races together if y'all are interested. Open to ideas :)
