Chicago Rust Meetup August 28 2018

Hello Rustaceans!

The next Chicago Rust Meetup will be held on Tuesday, August 28th and is for Rust enthusiasts of all skill levels. Come hang out with your fellow rustaceans and enjoy some free food and drink! This Meetup will be hosted by The Nerdery.

We’ll start with some networking and then move on to lightning talks. If you’ve been working on a cool project, tell us all about it. If you haven't been working on anything but still want to talk about some aspect of Rust then that’s fine too! If you’d like to give a talk but can’t think of a topic, here are some prompts:

• Have you had a chance to use procedural macros yet? How did you like them?
• How excited are you for Rust 2018? Have you tried the preview yet?
• Have you written a CLI app in Rust? How was the experience of writing it and what does it do?

We'll also have a short meta meetup discussion on what we want the future of our group to be.
