Designers != Pixel Pushers

Who needs designers anymore… right? Well, everyone, actually.

Designing for interactive media is much more than pushing pixels into place. There’s so many more dimensions to good design, and some amazing tools to help us successfully solve these greater problem solving challenges. Designers, developers, project managers and even content creators all play a role in this process, so lets look at how design has “grown up” and become so beautifully complex, yet exponentially more exciting than it ever has before.

I'm really excited to finally have Tracy Apps come down from Milwaukee to present for for us! Tracy (or @tapps) is a Visual/UX Designer for Cornershop Creative and loves solving problems creatively. With over 20 years of web development experience, and over 15 years of client work under her belt, Tracy approaches design very strategically, thinking from all angles to ensure a consistent and effective creative solution… not just something that “looks pretty.” As always, the doors at the Holiday Club open at 6. We use the 1st hour for networking, ordering and helping each other. The presentation will begin at 7 pm.
