November meeting has changed - Russ Conte will do a look at the new iWork

Hi everyone,

Our November 6th meeting will give us a first look at the new versions of Pages, Numbers and Keynote. You’ll get a chance to look at the new versions and compare them to the previous versions, so you can clearly see some of what has changed. If you use MS Office or the current version of iWork, this is a first chance to look and ask questions about Apple’s latest software release.

This will be a compare and contrast opportunity, and you’ll have a chance to look up close at the new offerings. A fuller review will come next year when we’ve had more time to do an evaluation of the programs, for now we simply want to give you a good idea of the options you have!

Our speaker will be our club president, Russ Conte. Our usual November guest, Bob “Dr. Mac” Levitus, will be our guest early next year. The exact date in early 2014 for Bob's visit is still being confirmed.

The second is also a startup working on a eCommerce platform in the music industry looking for Sr Ruby and/or iOS Developers. The office is on the north side of Chicago.

The third is a mobile development consulting group which has been working on a wide variety of projects, including an app to control systems in a private jet and a automotive dealership app. They're looking for Sr iOS or Android Engineers in a westside suburb of Chicago.

If you're interested in hearing more please reply with an updated resume, and your target compensation. I'll be happy to send you a job description for an
