I'm very pleased to announce that Dave Mattson will be our guest in person for our December meeting. Dave is the Mac software developer behind EazyDraw 5. This is a vector drawing application that is made for Mac OS X. It is not a port of some Windows or Linux app, it's designed from the ground up to take maximum advantage of everything Mac OS X can offer.
Of course you can make vector drawings with EazyDraw 5, but it does much more. Here's how Dave describes it: "EazyDraw provides a balanced feature set that includes tools needed for technical drawying, web and App graphic design, print publishing, logos, page- text layout and more. Easy enough for everyone but with the depth your project will need."
EazyDraw allows me to import and ungroup for edit PDF and EPS files. It can import and export SVG and now DXF, it can publish to EPS and TIFF with RGB or CMYK process colors.
It's now a 64-bit application that gives incredible precision and speed. EazyDraw has the best text enging of any of the major design studio software. That by itself is reason to come! Dave has also give over 40 training videos.
