We invite you and your family (or come alone) to join us at a FREE! advance screening of the upcoming THE FLASH on Wednesday June 7 at AMC Dine-In Rosemont.

We have a total of 20 guaranteed seats for our group. Everyone including guests must check-in prior to 6:15 PM and participate in our GROUP PHOTO organized by our Event Hosts (to happen between 6:15p--6:30p). We also ask every family to upload 3+ photo's to our meetup site before the night is over, of your crew enjoying the event so we can share with our sponsor as a thank you for this opportunity. Parking and any concessions are your responsibility.

Most importantly we ask that ALL our members who attend our sponsored advance movie screenings, to WEAR their blue Chicago Dads Group shirt to the meetup, which does a few things; helps our members be more clearly recognized and the sponsor can tell which group we are with, plus it looks amazing in our group photo and member engagement photos that we know our sponsors really likes seeing too.. If you don't have your own Chicago Dads Group shirt, you can buy it online from our Amazon store for $20. We feel this is a small ask that builds member engagement and appreciation for our sponsored opportunities. It’s a good thing to do.

Bring the family out for a hike at one of the best parks in IL! We will be doing the Lake Defiance trail which is approximately 3.5 miles. It should take us about 2.5hours with stops. It’s a paved and gravel trail. My kid will bring her scooter which I encourage you to do with your kids if you’d like.

After hiking, around 11:30-12 we will head to Windhill Pancake Parlor for brunch, which is along the river in downtown Mchenry. The address is: 3307 W Elm St, Mchenry. They’ve got a lot of great breakfast and brunch options, along with $6.50 kid meals.

We invite you and your kids to come out and join us for a FUN playgroup meetup to Paulus Park Playground, Beach and Spraypad in Lake Zurich.

We are going to start off by meeting up at 11:30am on the Playground and then at 12noon head into the Beach & Spraypad areas since that is when these areas are open (12p-5p).

This place has clean bathrooms and shower facilities onsite with baby changing stations in each mens and womens. They also have a snack shop onsite by the playground and this is where they take payment for beach & spraypad entrance (Cash, Visa or MC).

Children utilizing the Sprayground ONLY (no beach), may gain entrance with one paying adult per family.

We invite you to come out & join us for our 8th Annual FATHERS EVE with some of your fellow Chicago Dads Group members. This meetup is ONLY for Dads so leave kids at home with your spouse, partner, or get a sitter, so you can join us. Historically this annual event is one of our largest Dads Night Out's of the year and with your help by attending we can make this one be one of our largest ones yet, fingers crossed.

We have decided to kick off this years FATHERS EVE event by playing some DISC GOLF (aka Frisbee Golf) and then afterwards go grab dinner and drinks at a nearby restaurant. If you never played DISC GOLF, you need to try it out, its fun and its FREE. If you don't have any Discs then just bring a few frisbees.

Here is the plan... at 3:00PM we will all meetup at Central Park Disc Golf Course located at 1450 Forest Gate Road, Oak Brook, IL 60523 to play a round of FREE disc golf then (+/-5pm) we all can head over to one of our favorite BBQ restaurants Real Urban BBQ Oak Brook located at 2119 Clearwater Dr, Oak Brook, IL 60523 to have dinner, drinks and desert (closes at 8pm).

Help us start a new series of weekday playgroup meetups for our large community of Stay At Home Dads & Working Dads with flexible schedules.

Come out and join us for weekday playgroup activity with the kids. This time we are meeting up at Little Beans Play Cafe in Evanston. This indoor play space is AWESOME! So many toys, playhouses for crawlers/walkers. There is even a “Ninja Warrior” obstacle course, zip line with foam pit, basketball/floor hockey court, art room, game room, etc. There is a nice cafe, so feel free to stay longer and have lunch! Socks are required in the play area. They also have a FREE parking lot.

Dads Night Out @ Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ (Wood Dale) + DISC GOLF

Come out and join us for a well deserved DADS NIGHT OUT with some of your fellow Chicago Dads Group members and try out another popular BBQ place together. This meetup is ONLY for Dads so leave the kids at home with your spouse, partner, or get a sitter, so you can join us.

This time around we decided to check out Sweet Baby Rays BBQ in Wood Dale @ 5:00PM and then after dinner, we will head over to the nearby Foxdale Park Disc Golf Course 1500 North Itasca Road in Addison to play a FREE round of 9-hole DISC GOLF (aka Frisbee Golf). This course is described as great for beginners or for those who want to improve their skills. Set on fairly level terrain with one water hazard. If you never played, you need to try it out. If you don't have any Discs then just bring a frisbee.

Come out and join us for a well deserved DADS NIGHT OUT with some of your fellow Chicago Dads Group members, continue our BBQ Tour Series and try out another place together. This meetup is ONLY for Dads so leave the kids at home with your spouse, partner, or get a sitter, so you can join us.

This time around we decided to check out Heavens Barbecue On Earth in Wheeling @ 5:00PM and then after dinner, we will head over to the nearby Willow Stream Disc Golf Course located at 600 Farrington Dr, Buffalo Grove to play a FREE round of 9-hole DISC GOLF (aka Frisbee Golf). Wind is often biggest factor. Course goes around central woods, but only one tree obstacle. Large, beautiful, well-maintained park. If you never played, you need to try it out. If you don't have any Discs then just bring a frisbee.

I’m taking my daughters to see the world famous Barnum and Bailey Circus at Allstate Arena in Rosemont IL on Saturday 11/4 at 3pm.
