Have you ever wanted to contribute to an open source software project but you do not know how to get started? In this session, we will cover how to create a “Pull Request” against a GitHub project so that you can provide new features, enhancements, or patches for an existing project.
The Eclipse Krazo project was originally known as Ozark, and it was included in the Java EE 8 roadmap as MVC 1.0. The MVC 1.0 framework was eventually dropped from Java EE 8 in an effort to speed up the release date of the platform. MVC 1.0 was open sourced to the Eclipse foundation as the Eclipse Krazo project and it is now in “Proposed Final Draft” PFD. In this session, we will take a look at this open source framework, which is due to be released as part of Jakarta EE.
