About the Speakers
Vickie Hurston
Vickie is currently a Sr. Consultant level Project Manager at Allstate. She is also a Certified Scrum Master and Scrum Facilitator. In her 20-year career at Allstate, Vickie has held several positions beginning with Executive Administrative Asst. supporting a department of 300+ staff and over a dozen senior leaders. Building on the skillset of organization, prioritization, and communication, project management seemed a natural progression in her career. In addition, in the role of Scrum Master, Vickie assisted in the implementation of Allstate’s first Online Sales shopping basket feature, complementing the user experience with Allstate’s Online Sales application.

Vickie’s reputation for asking the tough questions to the right people serves her well in the role of both a project manager and scrum master. She is currently managing a multi-year program to ensure the security of personal information in environments across the Enterprise. Vickie also finds enjoyment in facilitating Allstate’s CyberSecurity for kids program and participating in our local Employee Resource Groups. These are opportunities to give back to our local communities and strengthen the Allstate philanthropic footprint throughout the Charlotte area at-large.
