Walk length 12.4 miles/20km approx. Circular.

A really picturesque circular walk up to Bledlow Ridge and the Ridgeway taking in a variety of landscapes from scenic views to wooded tracks, with a few climbs.

Some of this walk is on the Ridgeway National Trail, a path that follows tracks going back to prehistoric times and used by travellers and herdsman.

Meeting:

Meet outside Saunderton Rail station for 10.15am for the walk to start at 10.30am.

Lunch and Finish: Please bring a snack lunch and water for the walk. Our walks usually finish at about 5.00pm and include a 30min lunch stop and pub stop at the end, however the time may be earlier or later than this depending on the weather and pace (we have a relaxed pace which includes sightseeing and photography).

Transport:

Car: Free car parking at Saunderton Rail Station. This is a circular walk and finishes back at Saunderton Rail Station.

Train: The 9.33am train from London Marylebone gets to Saunderton for 10.23am. See Chiltern Railways (http://www.chilternrailways.co.uk/)
