Walking through these missions built by the Franciscan Fathers in the 1600's, one can understand the life of the pueblo Indians and their excitement about Christ. Sadly they were exploited by the conquistadors and later were driven from the pueblos by drought. A beautiful and evocative place within 80 miles of Albuquerque.
