Building fintech that doesn't piss off digital natives

Building fintech that doesn't piss off digital natives

Details

The majority of new financial services customers have grown up as digital natives who expect to be able to do everything online. Not just an online version of a tired bureaucratic process but well designed user experiences that minimise complexity and effort.

Furthermore transactions need to happen instantly and globally with human checks and balances reserved as a last resort.

We think that digital identity combined with self-sovereign data sharing is the key to automating complex financial services that currently require face to face interaction and a bunch of paper documentation.

Adam Lyness and Tom Blomfield will facilitate a discussion on emerging technologies around Identity, info sharing, transaction verification, and fraud detection, with a view to how these can power financial services that digital natives will love.
