Talk 1 - From Figma to Production
Jeff Knaggs, UX Lead at Skilitics

We're going to take a quick look at Figma — a Sketch and Adobe XD competitor — and see how Skilitics are using it to keep application icons in production up to date with the original work. Now the graphic designer has better control over which version is in production. No more passing around volume-up__final_FINAL_2-5.svg files.

Talk 2 - Human Factors
Kyle Wilson | PhD, Principal Human Factors Consultant at HFEx Ltd.

Kyle will talk about field research he conducted with train drivers using a new speed advisory display, and Chch vehicle commuters interacting with mobile apps specific for drivers. He will cover both the human factors methods and the UX methods he used to do this, and why these methods were a good fit given the customers' requirements.
