What we're about

Christian Homeschoolers Rejoicing In the Spirit Together (CHRIST) is a close-knit fellowship group for Christian homeschooling families of elementary age children (ages 8-12) organizing activities such as fieldtrips, park days, co-ops, service projects and other fellowship for both children and adults, including bible study, youth group, meal and prayer support and MNO. Because we are a Christian group, many activities include biblical worldview (for example, science co-ops may teach biblical perspectives, Christian holiday activities will emphasize religious themes, etc.) We believe homeschooling, like our faith, is a deeply rooted philosophy and commitment, and having like-minded families to share and support the journey with is important. For this reason, our families are actively homeschooling with a Christian worldview. We are a group of families who do not utilize support via public school "enrichment" programs, ESA, or "virtual" schools.

We welcome membership from those living in the East Valley area; a majority of our activities are located in the Gilbert or Chandler areas. Younger siblings are welcome; however, our students are elementary school age, so most activities are geared toward this age range, and are scheduled during the afternoon as most families have school in the morning. Some fieldtrips may occur during morning hours depending on the activity (plays, etc.). Members are asked to RSVP to events, attend at least one event per month, and actively help plan group activities. Annual dues are $12 (paid by PAYPAL ONLY) and are non-refundable after a 60-day trial period for new members.

The goal of this group is to have a small, tight knit group of families who get to know each other well and can support each other during this journey. Therefore, participation and communication are an essential part of membership. We intentionally keep our group numbers small so we are not just a long roster of names who do not attend events :) If you are looking to really get to know others and foster long-term relationships for yourself and your children, this is the group for you.

Please note: Because our group is a private group concerned about the security and privacy of its member, interested families will be invited to attend a group activity with their children before membership is approved.
