New Cidery opened in the interbay neighborhood near my house, so I dropped by the other day and did some tasting and yes, its awesome! I met their bar manager and she said she would love to host Cigars & Startups and give everyone a glass of cider just for showing up.
I also had breakfast with Gary Ritner of Puget Sound Venture Club and he asked when I was going to invite him to Cigars & Startups. I told him he could be our speaker this month! Some interesting tidbits about PSVC is that they have been around for 30 years now, have around 20 members and placed over $10,000,000 in funding last year. yes that is 10 with a million after it.
