May Meetup --Buffing the dents out of R: Removing R’s frustrating obstacles

Details
It's time for another Meetup!
We currently have 3 presenters scheduled.
Neil Berg will be presenting "Buffing the dents out of R: Removing R’s frustrating obstacles".
It's a summary of the practical shortcuts and suggestions help make R more pleasant and effective from installation to output in office and personal environments. It's mainly material that isn't commonly covered in online courses or that I have given as advice more than once around the office.
Sai Krishna Boggarapu will give shorter talk (15 minutes) on the R package BayesianOptimization as an interesting alternative to grid-based parameter tuning of black box models.
Finally, Eugene Pyatigorsky and Shuai Wang will present "Solving Common Business Optimization Problems Using Modern Tools in R."
It will cover R interfaces to the CBC solves (RCBC) and also an R interface they wrote to the Minizinc programming language.
Pizza and Drinks will be provided.
A Big THANKS to Info Trust for hosting our event!
See you there on the 22nd
Ray
