What we're about
Cincinnati's Black Professionals (CBP),
Was founded in 2014 by an Ethiopian Immigrant to the United States with the goal in mind to create friends within the African American Community. The Meetup was handed over due to the founder leaving the US and traveling . The group is made up of black men and women in the greater Cincinnati area. The members of CBP, have diverse educational, social, and professional backgrounds. We all come from different walks of life, but we are all professionals, and our goal as a group is very simple: to get to know one another and expand our network of friends. We are a laid back group and we like to have fun!
The Goal of CBP ( Cincinnati Black Professionals) is to support and host local area black businesses, network with other groups in the community, participate in lunch and learns, support other networking forums, support entrepreneurship , and employment opportunities among the black community. We support and volunteer with local area non profits, and also take the time explore the arts, dine, entertain and have fun. We enjoy a diversified portfolio of events to include but not limited to: exercise events, watch parties, karaoke, happy hour, brunch, concerts... etc.
