Please relate, in general terms, your backpacking experience.

Quite a few weekend treks to Cumberland and the red over the years. With the longest trip being 5 days , 50 miles.

What was your favorite backpacking experience?

Hiking with my buddy for 12 miles in the rain. When we finally found a place to stop the rain stopped. We didnt even setup our tents, through our sleeping pads on picnic tables and slept under the stars.

What was your funniest backpacking moment?

Ever tried to chief boyardee ravioli in a coffee tin? Well I have. Huge mistake! Before I had access to titanium cookware, like I do today, finding a good backpacking pot was hard to come by. I was all of 14 at this point. So somewhere along the line, someone through out the idea of cooking in a coffee can. The guy in charge of bringing said coffee tin also packed it in. Begin cooking with flashlights, throw ravioli in the coffee tin and bring to boil! No spoons that can reach all the way to the bottom. Leatherman falls into the ravioli while trying to move it. Coffee grounds were still in the bottom of the tin. Worst dinner ever. tldr; Coffee flavored ravioli with a side of leatherman

What was your most embarrassing backpacking moment?

I'm pretty sure I was the guy who left the coffee in the coffee tin...

What's the longest backpacking trip you've ever taken? (in mileage and/or days)

Longest was hiking around Fontana Lake. 50miles 5 nights

I'm Aaron and I enjoy rock climbing a lot, and take frequent trips to Red River Gorge. I used to backpack a lot more when I was younger, but I'm getting back into it.
