In diesem Jahr organisiert wir einen Online-Workshop in Partnerschaft mit dem Global Compact Network Austria und Circonnact. Wir werden die nächsten Schritte unternehmen, um Kreislaufwirtschaft in Wien voranzubringen.

Ziel des Workshops ist die Circular Vienna Landkarte zu vervollständigen. Welche Initiativen und Akteure sind essentiell für ein zirkuläres Wien? Im Rahmen der SDG-Strategie des Global Compact Network Austria hat die Fachhochschule BFI Wien eine interdisziplinäre Arbeitsgruppe eingerichtet, in der wir die Ergebnisse des Circular City Mapping von 2018 überprüft und kategorisiert haben. Es bestehen noch einige Lücken auf der Landkarte, die wir in dem Workshop füllen werden.

Wir sind stolz darauf, dass unser Workshop im letzten Jahr mit unserem Brief an den Bürgermeister von Wien den Start des Programms "DoTank Circular City 2020-2030" unterstützt hat. Auch in diesem Jahr werden die Leiterinnen des DoTank Circular City zu dem Workshop stoßen, um auch danach eine starke Allianz zu bilden und sicherzustellen, dass die Vorschläge weiter verfolgt werden.

The Circular Cities Week is a yearly event organized by the Circular Economy Club uniting circular economy professionals to promote circularity in their city. In 2019 more than 80 chapters organized local events, and Vienna was one of the cities mentioned in the Circular Cities Week Report.

This year the Circular Economy Club Vienna organizes an online - workshop in partnership with Global Compact Network Austria and Circonnact. We will take the next steps to advance circularity in Vienna.

The objective of the workshop is to complete the Circular Vienna map. Which initiatives and actors are essential for a circular Vienna? As part of the Global Compact Network Austria’ SDG strategy, the University of Applied Sciences BFI, Vienna, established an interdisciplinary working group where we revisited and clustered the results from the Circular City Mapping in 2018, however, there are still some gaps that we are going to fill during the workshop.

We are very proud that our workshop last year and our letter to the mayor of Vienna supported the start of the program “DoTank Circular City 2020-2030” from the municipality. The DoTank Circular City leaders will join us for the workshop to form a strong alliance and ensure the suggestions are being followed up.
