Getting Going in Space - What's Out There?

Details
Roll up! Roll up! Interested in Space? Curiosity is all you need.
Come along to Citizen Inventor's first event - a big bang of an unmissable line up! It's our first event, so we've organised for all the great people with headline projects to talk in one session (these kind of things doesn't happen often!).
Space is actually not that far away! We will cover nano satellites - satellites that you can already get your hands on - from all angles. From the general economy climate around these projects to government and entrepreneurial initiatives to demo. We will whirlwind through what is already happening and help to inspire you (if you are not already convinced) to get hacking with space! Most importantly, you'll get to ask questions to the inspirational people behind the headline projects.
The Agenda
18:15 Doors Open
18:30 Intro
18:35 Sam Adlen, Head of Business Innovation from Satellite Application Catapult will be talking to us about TechDemoSAT and the UK's initiatives in supporting UK's thriving space industry.
19:10 Michael Johnson, physicist and founder of Pocket Spacecraft Mission to the Moon ( http://kck.st/14zOnAA ) and co-creator of KickSat - two of the highest profile Kickstarter space projects, will be talking to us about both projects, the journey from one to the
other, and the technology behind them both. Both of these inspirational projects provide open source open access to space - come and learn about how to take part. For those who are interested in getting a personal spacecraft, this is your chance!
