What we're about

As of November 2021, please join us via citizensclimatelobby.org. You'll soon get updates from the CCL Lincroft NJ chapter about our local activities - and how you can help "build political will for a livable world."

Climate change is not a side issue, it is the issue which affects all the other issues we care about.

Citizens' Climate Lobby (CCL) is a non-partisan group of concerned citizens that is creating the political will for a livable world by empowering individuals to experience breakthroughs in exercising their personal and political power.

We meet to educate ourselves on climate issues and the legislative process, and lobby Congress to enact a specific piece of climate legislation that will grow the economy, add jobs, and clean our air and water. We also engage with the media by writing letters to editors, as well as host educational events for local organizations.

Citizens' Climate Lobby began in 2007 with a few people and now counts tens of thousands of volunteers and over 400 local chapters worldwide. People who discover Citizens' Climate Lobby often say, with a big sigh of relief, "Finally, a clear and focused approach to acting on climate change!”

We hope you can attend some of our local group meetings. The Middletown/Lincroft group started in 2012. We usually (but not always) meet monthly on the second Saturday of each month from 1 to 3:30 on Zoom. Contact group leader Sarah Fischell, lincroft@citizensclimatelobby.org, for more info.
