Join us for stories of passion and pain from startup founders that are using data and technology for social good. We will also hear about a variety of opportunities to help out in the design and implementation of these innovative initiatives.

Kyle Wadstein is driven by the belief that all problems are solvable, we just need a way better way to communicate ideas. In the pursuit of this ideal, he has taught himself the skills necessary to develop multiple iterations of the platform culminating in an app called Public Alchemy. Kyle is currently enrolled in a business development program with ETHOS in Red Deer and participates in startup training with Rainforest AB. He is a self-taught coder and musician.

Wunmi Adekanmbi is the founder of ReSKill Calgary. She immigrated to Canada in 2011 from Nigeria where she was a university lecturer. Having tried unsuccessfully to enter the academic space, she pivoted into environmental program/project management, Change management, organizational strategy and experience management. She currently leads a project team at Bureau Veritas.

Tim Lipp is a quick-learning product manager with experience in a variety of industries. While at University he launched an award-winning social enterprise in Kenya building efficient cookstoves, and won the 3M National Student Leadership Award. Tim also serves on the board as Chair of the IT Committee for the Federation of Calgary Communities.
Yin Dong is an accountant-turned technologist. She is passionate about data analytics and how it can apply to issues of everyday life. She studied computer science at SAIT and has been interning with Inonit since October.

Matthew Cudmore is Cofounder at Memory Anchor Inc, who works with historical and veteran-focused organizations to enhance visitor education and experience at historical military places with the Faces of Valour mobile app. After earning a business degree in 2009 and deciding accounting wasn't his thing, Matthew spent the last decade working in everything from the video game industry at Jagex Games Studios, to telecommunications at Shaw Communications, to startup investing with Valhalla Angels.
Ryan Mullens (Cofounder) is a Canadian Armed Forces veteran and spent 9 years with the 41st Combat Engineering Regiment headquartered in Calgary, Alberta. Ryan's service to others continued after retiring honourably from military service as he entered civilian life, dedicating the past ten years of his career to helping others with addictions, homelessness, family counselling, and leadership training. Ryan also worked as an Interpreter at the Calgary Military Museums.
Erica Eckes is an Advisor with Memory Anchor Inc, providing advice on deep geospatial challenges and helping to apply cutting edge mapping technology solutions to the world of digital commemoration. A graduate of George Washington University, Erica believes maps help to tell rich stories and build bridges between communities.
