What we're about
Clapham Girls Book Club is a group for ladies who enjoy meeting new people and making new friends. And for those who enjoy a passing interest in reading to avid book readers, we will have regular monthly clubs to get together and discuss varied topics around the chosen book of the month. But it won’t all be about books, we will also aim to have food, drinks or other social activities once a month.
Please join up if you want to read some interesting books, that are thought-provoking, have a great discussion over a drink or two, and make new friends.
Books can be voted for but below are a few that might be a good starting point:
Rani by Jaishree Misra
Half of the yellow sun by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie
The Help by Kathryn Stockett
When God Was a Rabbit by Saraha Winman
Wild Swans: Three Daughters of China by Jung Chang
