It's a Wonderful Life (1946) is an American Christmas fantasy/comedy/drama film produced and directed by Frank Capra and starring James Stewart, Donna Reed, Lionel Barrymore, and Henry Travers. The movie is based on the short story "The Greatest Gift", which Philip Van Doren Stern wrote in 1939 and published privately in 1945.
The following simple synopsis is from Cineplex.com: An angel helps a compassionate but despairingly frustrated businessman by showing what life would have been like if he never existed.
Chances are you have seen this film a bunch of times on TV, but many of you may not have seen it on the big screen. So come join us on Monday December 21st for second annual meetup for It's a Wondeful Life.
