Hi there,
I'd like to welcome all of you (esp. newbies to the meetup!) to our monthly all-in-one event, and it's FREE of cost. Please come on out and meet us. It's ordinary people's concert, but we do our best to perform variety & to offer musical sharing experience. The concert is followed by potluck/jam at our beloved friend's home in Berkeley at 6p. And yes, you are all invited to it as well.

*ABOUT THIS EVENT:
The concert will take place @ Redwood Gardens rain or shine while the potluck and jam will take place at a member's home near the concert venue. Please be on time. Come through the main entrance by pressing "#001" to call into the office to get in. Thanks.
*WHERE:
Concert @4: Redwood Gardens (Address: 2951 Derby St, Berkeley).
Potluck dinner/musical jam (+ ping pong) after the concert: check you email as the date gets closer for the exact address & potluck assignment.
*WHEN: Every 4th Saturday @ 4p unless notified any change; followed by potluck/jam @6p

The concert will begin @4 at Redwood Gardens. The first hour will be solo vocal/instrumental performances (good mix of both pro & amateur musicians!); this will be followed by 10 min. of Sing Along portion, which we'll sing some oldies & our all-time favorites. Afterwards, good time continues with potluck and jam session at our good old friend's home until we all get tired out, right?:)

Voila, here's the driving direction to the venue:
1) Get off on Claremont Ave exit off of Hwy24 twd Walnut Creek
2) Left at the exit
3) Drive all the way up until you see Claremont hotel right near you (crossing w/ Ashby Ave)
4) Right after you pass Ashby, veer to the left
5) Go until the dead end of the street. The bldg ahead of you at the deadend is the venue.
6) Park on street (2hr limit), and walk down on the street called Derby from that deadend. You will see a green roof with 2951 written. That's the entrance to the venue.
*We'll have the door to the community room open until 4. If you come late, dial #001 using intercom outside. Thanks! Hope this helps!:)

For those of you signed up late and didn't get my email reminder NO worry!:) Just come to the concert. And if you are staying for potluck/jam after the concert, please bring a potluck dish with you. Then we'll figure things out from there. Cool?

Yup, I am performing Mozart piano duet K.381 mov't 1 with Larry for this concert, hehe!:) Also, we've got F. Liszt piano music as well as songs by Faure.
