7.10 Tom Dyson - lessons learnt building a personal carbon platform:

Tom will be telling us about the Carbon Account, a site set up in 2007 as a prototype for a personal carbon accounting system. He'll tell us a bit about what it did, and share what went right and what went wrong.

7.40 Phil McDonald - Hacking the price of carbon with the ETS:

Sandbag is an organisation which provides carbon offsetting by purchasing permits out of the EU Emissions Trading Scheme (ETS). Phil will be telling us about how this works, and give us some insights into the EU ETS and its limitations.

8.10 Break

8.30 Matt Finch - A blueprint for personal carbon trading today:

Matt will be telling us all about Tradable Energy Quotas (TEQs), a design for a national carbon rationing / trading scheme, and what might be needed in order to get it built and adopted.
