I recently setup a Raspberry Pi and installed Pi-Hole to remove unwanted ads, and Unbound as a local recursive DNS to speed up DNS resolution and increase privacy. In this talk we will go over what is a DNS sink hole, how does DNS caching work in Unbound, and how did Pi-Hole help in reducing traffic by 20-25% on my internet connection.
