Hashing began in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in 1938, when a group of British colonial officials and expatriates founded a running club called the Hash House Harriers. We are an international drinking club with a running problem (we have a lot of walkers as well!) We meet the first and third Saturday of every month. Check out us out on facebook: https://www.facebook.com/clevelandhash/ "If you have half a mind to join, that's all you need"
Prelube: 2:00pm and Trail: 3:00pm (ish)
Hash Cash: $10
Euclid Creek Upper Highland Picnic Area, Euclid, OH 44143
COVID is here and the map of Ohio continues to get more orange. Don't you want to get out and run before everything closes up again? No? Well what if i said there was beer hidden around, and you got to drink some?
We'll explore Euclid Creek reservation, home of Cleveland's Bluestone quarries, rare rock chestnut oak and surprising caches of Cleveland's best beer.
This is a 4+ mile true trail, Shiggy socks, a dry bag, bug spray and tick checks are highly recommended. Masks are highly recommended during beer stops and circle (but we'll be outside throughout and in general in low risk situations).
The Cleveland Hash House Harriers and Harriettes are a kennel (chapter) of the OG International Drinking Club with a Running Problem. We drink some beer, then we r*n (or walk) around a bit, then we drink some more beer, then we r*n (or walk) around some more, then more beer. This is all followed by a ceremonial circle in which we sing horrible songs, tell terrible jokes and generally heckle whom ever laid the trail for doing a shitty job no matter great it was. If that sounds fun to you, join us! 21+ please.
