What we’re about

The Cleveland Writers Club is currently a free membership group for those who have something to write.  For those who would like to start or complete a book or other project... such as a personal memoir, novel, non-fiction, collection of short stories or poetry.  CWC is for you if your writing has been gathering dust in a closet, under a bed, in a drawer or in your head for months... perhaps years!

Following writing coach and meetup organizer Steve FitzGerald's surveys of our members in 2016, and again in 2017, the course we'll follow is to focus on individualized "One-Plus-One" writing critiques, and once or twice per year small-group weekend writers retreat, plus occasional "solo" writing retreats individually scheduled upon request for June, July and August.  We'll roll out the individual sessions on weekdays first, since serious writing reviews and critiques are a priority for the majority of CWC members.  Next, we'll add weekend "One-Plus-One" opportunities. Later, we'll add group and individual, solo writing retreats.  All events will have discounted or reasonable fees to attend.

It's going to be work (no way 'round that) so let's join forces and make progress with your writing! Get constructive feedback and professional guidance.  Get started by joining the Cleveland Writers Club.
