Climate Conversation Skills: Radical Listening

After some requests for some more skills-based sessions, here's one on an important skill that we all need to continuously cultivate throughout our lives: Listening.
It may seem simple, it may seem passive, but we cannot underestimate how difficult it can be to really listen and how powerful it can be in our conversations and in creating the change we want to see in the world.
So come along to this practical session to tune up and continue honing your listening skills. We'll go through a couple of different activities in pairs and/or small groups to get us practicing, as well as a whole group discussion about why and how listening is important for social change and why it can often be so hard to implement in the moment.

These meetups are a safe facilitated space to work through our conversational stuck points, practice new ways of talking about our world, our future, and unlearn old ideas about how we create change - in ourselves and in others.
