En-ROADS – Climate Action Simulation

IDEA of the event
What do you think which policy we need globally to keep climate change within +1,5 C average temperature rise?
- How much impact would there be if we stop fossil fuels and invest more into renewable energy?
- What does afforestation really bring and what are the effects of carbon pricing?
To explore these questions together we use an online climate simulation tool EN-Roads. This time, it is going to be a physical event (not online) where we meet in person, to discuss climate policies on our sunny garden of Kaskantine!

No expertise is needed. This meetup is for everyone who is interested in exploring together (from the newbie to the climate experts). We host this meetup so we get a better understanding of policy and impact on the environment and people become more engaged in the issue.

PLAN of the day
The weather forecast is looking good for the 26th, with a sunny outlook. Although just to be sure, we recommend you to bring warm clothes and wind jackets. We will prepare two or three laptops and share the screen where we simulate our climate policies together.
