Introduction to Extinction Rebellion @ De Kaskantine

Are you worried about the climate and ecological crisis? Are you done standing by idly as politicians and businesses lead us to a 4-degree world? Want to do something that makes a difference to the biggest crisis humankind currently faces? Then join this introductory session where you can learn more about what Extinction Rebellion is, what we do and how you can get involved in the fight for climate justice.

The introduction lasts about an hour and includes a quick overview of the latest science about the climate and ecological crisis and a presentation of nonviolent civil disobedience as an instrument to achieve climate justice. Questions and discussions are very welcome at any point during and after the talk.

Important notes about Meeting Place

We will meet in the Garden. The Kaskantine is still under construction, so we don't have an inside space that we can use yet!
Because of this, please prepare for Dutch weather. We will be sitting in the Garden bring where warm clothes and bring your coffee :-)
