About Joe Beda:
Joe Beda is a Principal Engineer at VMware. Joe organizes Kubernetes technical direction across VMware and VMware Tanzu. Joe arrived at VMware via the acquisition of Heptio, a leader in the cloud native movement and a company that he co-founded. Previously, at Google, Joe co-created Google Compute Engine and filed the first ever Kubernetes project commit. He remains a frequent contributor to the open source community.
Joe holds a B.S. from Harvey Mudd College and lives in Seattle, Washington with his wife Rachel (a medical doctor and also an HMC alum) and his two children.

Kasper is a Cloud Native Computing Foundation Ambassador. He co-founded the Cloud Native Nordics, a nordic meetup alliance, and organizes meetups in Denmark. He works as a Lead Platform Architect at Lunar, previously worked as a DevOps & Infrastructure Consultant at LEGO. Kasper wrote his master thesis, “KubeCloud - A Small Scale Cloud Computing Environment”, on how Universities could leverage small-scale cloud environments built out of Raspberry Pis running Kubernetes
