How to think Cloud-Native for your next Data project

Details
Greetings cloud enthusiasts ๐
For our long-awaited 2021 meet-up, we have scheduled a panel discussion with Harry Lee and Archana Arakkal.
Cloud-native computing has fundamentally transformed how software is built and delivered over the past couple of years. In recognising the benefits, many organisations are also looking to leverage cloud-native technologies to accelerate their data-centric applications.
We invited cloud-native specialist Harry Lee and data specialist Archana Arakkal to chat about how the two ecosystems are growing to serve the community. And how you, as a practitioner, can start thinking cloud-native to improve your efficiency!
๐ค Panel:
Harry Lee:
Harry is the co-founder of Melio AI, CNCF Ambassador and the event organiser of Cloud-Native Computing Johannesburg. Harry is a DevSecOps evangelist and is lovingly known for permeating the DevOps culture across the organisation. He specialises in deploying secure cloud-native applications that operationalises inefficient processes. He cannot stand any inefficiencies and will happily automate all your workflows.
Archana Arakkal (Archie):
Archie is the Practice Lead of Intelligent Data Engineering at Synthesis. She is also doing her PhD through MIT, with the topic: "Optimization of transfer learning in multi-agent reinforcement learning with the use of federated learning techniques in the healthcare sector". She is the perfect embodiment of responsible AI and thrives to make the AI community better.
๐ Agenda: (Total duration: 60 minutes) ๐
There will be a 20 - 30 minutes introductory chat around the cloud-native & data ecosystem. We will be answering some questions from our participants.
