Connecting Clouds - Designing your multicloud architecture (Paul McGuinness, Megaport)
Getting the best that the cloud has to offer by involving multiple leading cloud providers sounds like a great idea. But orchestrating a multicloud architecture can be a daunting task for those in charge of managing network traffic. Facilitating a multicloud architecture doesn't have to be as complex as it sounds. We'll show you how virtual routing allows you to connect between clouds at Layer 3 without the need to maintain physical hardware. Find out how it works and who is successfully using it.

Paul McGuinness is Head of Solutions, Europe at Megaport. With more than 20 years of experience, Paul delivers an extensive range of expertise in solution design and technical consulting for customers and partners of all sizes. Paul has held senior positions at a number of global telecommunications vendors in the past, including Cisco where he was responsible for solution consulting on Cisco’s communications API portfolio. Paul has also gained extensive experience in Voice and Video services while at Avaya, Polycom and a number of successful innovative start-ups. Paul has studied at the Dublin Institute of Technology, The University of Waterloo, Canada and has a Master’s degree in Telecommunications and Electronic Engineering from The University of Hull in the UK.

DevOps workflows you can implement to improve your Kubernetes game (Chris Kranz, Sysdig)
You want to run more Kubernetes workloads, but you're not sure how to monitor and secure them? Maybe you have already read plenty of recommendations and best practices all over the internet, and perhaps you’re feeling a bit overwhelmed? Or you've already started doing some things but are maybe frustrated with their complexity and lack of results? Perhaps you’re just trying to use existing tools that gave you confidence in your old virtual machines? In this session we summarize five essential workflows you can start adopting now, why they are important in a cloud native world, and what benefits you can expect to get out of implementing them.

Chris once earned "Employee of the Month" at Harry Ramsden's Fish & Chip restaurant. Having no greater accolade to go after, now he manages a team and so gets to work with some amazing people. Along the way he has managed to learn a few things about cloud native security and the challenges many of us face trying to build reliable cloud things. Find him on Twitter @ckranz

From Kubernetes Multi-Cloud to CaaS/FaaS (Jake Tame, Nutanix)
Karbon Platform Services supercharges digital transformation. It unleashes developers’ full potential with cutting-edge cloud native services and enables push-button Kubernetes application lifecycle management on any cloud.

Jake Tame is a Systems Engineer @ Nutanix, he helps organizations modernize infrastructure and software in a hybrid multi cloud approach. He is on Twitter @tamejake
