This month we'll meet Tuesday, May 30th for a presentation / discussion with Tudor Chira about the architecture of CSS for a site or theme.
Tudor is a Designer and Front-end Developer at Forward.
He's been working with CSS since the days when layouts were being built with tables. He's on a continuous lookout for new paradigms, best practices and of course, very keen to adopt all the latest additions to the CSS world.
In his presentations he'll talk about:
• using CSS Frameworks, Preprocessors
• concepts like Object-Oriented CSS, BEM
• approaches to structuring the code
• and he'll lay out a map for writing the CSS for your project: where to start, what are the major steps, how to break up the page into components, etc.
Besides that, Tudor is also a wonderful source of tips & tricks, so don't hesitate to bring all your CSS questions and curiosities.
I'm really exited to have him as our guest speaker, and hopefully so will you.
See you soon,
