Abstract:

People have been building and using tools long before the they discovered and understood the physical and chemical processes underlining them.

Similar to a medieval guild, software engineering has a set of rules and best practices on how to build software, yet we are not trained to understand the mathematics, physics, and forces that underline the logic we write everyday.

I will try to bridge this gap with a down to earth approach and explain as much "Category Theory" from scratch as we fit in the schedule, in a similar way kids learn science in school, with just enough math to understand, yet not too much to get everyone bored.
