It is time for another Automation Night, and again Systematic has volunteered to host the event and sponsor food and drinks.
The first talk will be about Kubernetes and how to orchestrate a setup with many containers and services. The talk will be given by Henrik Høegh from Praqma.
The second talk is titled Monitoring with Prometheus. Prometheus is a tool for monitoring your services and machines. You don't wanna fly blind and as Googles SRE's would say: "Hope is not a strategy". We need to know how our systems behave and start being proactive instead of reactive firefighters.
The plan is:
16.30 - 17: Arrival
17 - 18: Kubernetes - manage large sets of containers and services by Henrik Høegh
18 - 18.30: Sandwich
18.30 - 19: Monitoring with Prometheus by Kasper Nissen
19 - : Networking until everyone is gone
