• What we'll do Each month doors open at 6 PM for networking time. We will open the optional buffet ($20/ plate) about 6:30 We will have organized discussion time, sometimes with a featured speaker and sometimes an open forum of topics of interest to the group. We always get to share our deal of the day! Attendance to monthly meetings in included in annual membership fee. Non-members pay $10 / person to attend the meeting. • What to bring Bring business cards, this is a time to network with one another. Also, bring your "Deal of the Day" whether you are buying or selling or looking for a deal, bring it to the group !

What we're about

Introducing the CoMo REI – a group of like-minded individuals and companies interested in:

Learning about real estate investing concepts and techniques

Increasing their knowledge of real estate investing

Networking with other individuals and service providers

The mission of the CoMo REI is to provide education, training, services and opportunities for both the novice and experienced real estate investor, while promoting high standards of ethics and a positive influence in the community.

The group will provide a professional trade organization for the benefit of local real estate investors, property owners, apartment owners, property managers, landlords and service providers on a local and perhaps, state wide, scale.

The group is open to anyone, or company, involved in real estate activities – investors, Realtors, attorneys, appraisers, title companies, insurance agents, contractors, handymen, lenders, home inspectors, etc.

The group will address the needs of those individuals who are just entering the real estate marketplace or those investors struggling to grow their real estate investments. Needs such as -

Education

Starting your business, forming a company, choosing attorneys, CPA’s, accountants, etc.

Finding capital – banks, hard money lenders, private money lenders, borrowing from IRA’s and 401K’s.

Staying ‘legal’ – complying with Lead Paint Rules, local regulations, landlord/tenant issues, contracts, suits, evictions, building codes, licenses, etc.

Creative investment techniques.

Avoiding / minimizing taxes.

Techniques for buying, marketing, selling properties.

Networking

Provide a venue for like-minded investors to meet and exchange ideas and suggestions.

Provide a venue for buying, selling, trading properties.

Provide a venue for all members to meet and explore business opportunities with one another.
